We recently got a 'to go' order for Hot Sour Soup for a friend who's husband was in hospital and she was staying with him. When we asked what we could bring her she said Hot Sour Soup sounded good. When we brought it to her she said it was the best she had and wanted to know where we got it. She requested another order. Thank you China House! You have a new customer in our friend!
China House has been my family go-to for like 30 years now.. the only Chinese spot I know of in Vacaville that has lasted without closing or getting shut down for violations.. they have grandma's and grandpa's cooking in the back, so you KNOW its good!! They have your favorite Chinese dish, I'm sure of it.. always great service with a smile, family run! The place is decorated in beautiful tapestries and the furniture is covered. Great for families or solo dining.
This location is my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Vacaville. The chow main is my favorite, outside of San Francisco. The Service on the weekends is better than during the week. Jim is the only server during the week. I love the decor in the restaurant because it reminds me of a classic Chinese restaurant of the 90's and early 2000's. The entrance of this restaurant is odd. The location has two entrances doors. If you are with a larger group it can be difficult to get everyone inside the first door into the sally port and then into the restaurant through the second door.
Tasty food served fast and hot. Good prices and a variety of choices. Their lunch menu includes vegetarian options.
Came here on the weekend to try this local Chinese restaraunt. The place itself is decorated very nicely and was clean. Properly greeted and served right away ! Off the bat me and my bf ordered lemonades which were so good ! We tried crab and cream cheese wontons , green bean shrimp and a beef teriyaki. All which were very good, and also on lunch special costing almost about $11-$12 which includes a soup ! And served with a side of fried rice Server was very attentive and friendly, very affordable dining experience, will be back !
